Believe it or not there is a way to keep your family healthy by making wise choices now. This is by helping children to understand that being healthy isn’t a choice but a must. 1. Limit sugary drinks.

Last but not least, children need plenty of sleep to grow up strong and healthy. Sleep lets a child’s body rest and recover from a long day of physical activity. Also, their mind needs that time to rest and prepare for the next day. A child who doesn’t get at least 8 hours of sleep nightly will possibly have irritability problems. Other problems may include: not focusing in class, meaning having problems with schoolwork and homework. A child that’s not sleeping at least 8 hours will also be more prone to accident and injury simply because they are tired.
